AJ grew up in the painting industry, learning the trade from his father before eventually starting AJ Painting on the East End of Long Island. A master painter who now focuses on running the business, he oversees projects, handles estimating, and leads the crew with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.

When he’s not on the job, AJ can be found traveling the world with his wife, Erica, spending time with family, taking his crew fishing, and following his favorite sports teams.

Angel has been part of the AJ Painting team for 12 years, beginning his career with us as an apprentice and working his way up to become a master painter, lead project manager, and our trusted pressure-washing expert. Known for his sharp eye, patience, and flawless results, he brings leadership, professionalism, and pride to every project.

Angel takes great satisfaction in how he has grown in his craft and in the guidance he now offers the team. His steady, supportive leadership helps keep every project organized and running smoothly.

Outside of work, Angel enjoys spending time with his family and stopping by Pips Café & Provisions for his favorite treat — banana bread and a café latte.

For the past 8 years, Isay has been a versatile member of the AJ Painting team, contributing to all types of projects. While he works across the board, he especially enjoys exterior work, where he finds the most satisfaction in transforming older homes and giving them a fresh, renewed look. He brings a steady, reliable presence to every job.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family. Fun fact: Isay can paint with both hands, a unique ability that serves him well on the job.

José has been part of the AJ Painting team for six years, working as a painter and contributing to a variety of projects across the East End. Jose brings a steady, easygoing presence to the job site and tackles each task with a practical, hands-on approach.

Outside of work, José enjoys spending time with his family and playing billiards. His favorite local spot is Pips Café & Provisions, where he likes to order banana bread and an apple-pie latte.

For the past 7 years, Juan has contributed to the AJ Painting team as both a prep specialist and a painting apprentice. Juan takes pride in laying the groundwork that helps every project start strong and finish well. His steady effort, reliability, and eagerness to grow in the trade make him a valued member of the crew.

Outside of work, Juan enjoys spending time with his family, which keeps him grounded and motivated. He’s proud to be building his craft and future with AJ Painting.

Lindo joined AJ Painting 4 years ago and has since contributed to a wide range of projects. While he works across all areas, he especially enjoys exterior painting, where he can focus on detail and finish. Known for his good heart and humble, noble spirit, he’s always willing to help wherever he’s needed.

Outside of work, Lindo enjoys fishing and running. His favorite local stop is Pips Café & Provisions, where he pairs a cappuccino with his favorite pastry.

For the past 3 years, Dalih has brought his all-in attitude to AJ Painting, tackling every painting job that comes his way and enjoying the satisfaction of a fast, clean finish.

On his days off, he loves relaxing, spending time with his pigeons, and enjoying life on the North Fork. He’s a regular at local Turkish spots, where his go-to breakfast is simit and olives, and he often brings his own homemade lunches to work.

Dalih appreciates the supportive, family-like environment at AJ Painting and values the teamwork he shares with his coworker Apo.

Apo has been working with AJ Painting for 19 years, bringing experience, consistency, and a meticulous hand, especially when it comes to semigloss finishes. Known as a dependable, hardworking member of the crew, he takes pride in doing the job right and keeping customers satisfied.

Outside of work, Apo enjoys fishing and spending time around Riverhead. His favorite breakfast is a simple Turkish classic — simit, tea, and cheese.

Lalo joined AJ Painting 7 years ago as a master painter and has since become a trusted project manager on the team. Known for his versatility, he takes on all types of work and especially excels in painting and spackling, bringing strong technique and a serious, focused approach to every project. His leadership helps keep jobs organized and moving efficiently.

Outside of work, Lalo enjoys spending time with his family, which keeps him grounded and motivated.
